Re- Versailles, the first project in Spring 2017 for Art studio class, is inspired by Palace of Versailles in Paris.
I have visited Palace of Versailles in June 2017 and got inspired by the palace's living style and their fascinating textile and the order-beauty of embroideries.
My design idea is 'What if Marie- Antoinette reborn in 2019?'
Although Queen Marie's style was roccoco, which is very fancy with lots of embroideries such as ruffles, ribbons, and beads in lovely pastel tone color palette. I imagined modernized Queen Marie whose characteristic as unisex.
From current customer types, I chose flexible identity so that the various range of designs for casual, formal, elegant, and boyish appear at once.
Recently, there are no boundaries between in gender, I want my customers to make their decision with lots of style options.
